Hey everybody, welcome to a nakedtool with calming in Olivia podcast. This is a mental will being podcasts wherewe will be openly discussing our own experience with mental health issues and mental wellbeing. We are not qualifying mental health fashioners by any means that we areboth certified transformation life coaches and putting us we have a range of experiences inthis area. We will do weekly podcast discussing different topics. It depends whatis relevant in their specific week or when it comes to mind. Now,Olivia, will you introduce yourself? Hi Everyone, I'm Olivia Standbridge and I'ma certified transformational life coach and I also enjoy doing some public speaking when Ican. I live in Cambridgeshire with my other half and our two dogs.My background is I have experienced in the public sector of the police officer andthen I moved into the corporate world where...

I worked as HR manager, soI've been through a couple of big career changes so far. I was actuallymedically retired from the police due to poor mental health, which no doubt willbe discussed in more detail and future episode, so stay tuned for that roller coasterride. I then left hr as I was feeling very lost and I'msure of myself in the corporate world. It just really didn't suit me.I wasn't doing something that aligned with my personal values and ethics. I feltlike I was pretending to be someone I wasn't. And don't get me wrong, I was very good at my job, but it just didn't feel right.I didn't want to live my life like that any longer. Life tooshort to be stuck doing something you just don't feel writing. I've done sometraining in workplace coaching as part of my hr roll and discovered more about whoI was and who I how I wanted to live my life. So Itook the leap and less the Corporate Well Behind Training Transformational coaching, which actuallyworks at much deeper level than workplace coaching,...

...and then set up my coaching practiceand have been supporting people internationally ever since to achieve their goals. Mymission in life is to help those that feel last on certain and in authenticto find out who they really are, they want to do and how todo it. My clients are empowered to take work out the right and nextstep for them have the courage and confidence to take action towards more fulfilling lifethat's aligned with what they truly value. Often people come to me wanting tobe coached around changing jobs or careers, but I also coach people in otherareas such as confidence, friendships, I'm living with health, fishing about somethingthat I have experience of. In addition to one to one coaching, Ialso run workshops and Webinars and I love interacting with people in a group situationfor calm. And here are you tell us about you? See, yeah, I'm Carmendarth and as well. I'm...

...a certifived transformational life coach. Infact, me and Olivia we met doing that diploma. I'm Spanish, butI've been living in England for nearly twenty five years now. I live inLondon with my partner my eleven year old kids and my background is incorporate inthe areas of finance and strategy and I think the last you know, youknow, probably ten years my main focus was coaching and leading high performance teamsand as when you talk to women in Corporates, I had it all atemotion, after maternity, in bully, discrimination and I know what is tostruggle emotional and for years having many plates and having to go to work nomatter what's and put a fake money like like nothing is happening to you.I know what is to feel the stuck, not knowing where to turn and tohave lack of life practice. So...

...promoss I everything look like I hadthe perfect life. The problem was that the high I went to the corporatelevel, they are happier I became and I saw people, not just mebut all the woman struggling with similar, Similarias in their lives. And inmy darkest moment, that it was when I got the moted after my maternity. So I went from being an exemplary employee going into maternity and literally afterthree weeks when we arrived, get the moted for no apparent reason really, and and I became a victim. For many months. I stremely unhappy byconversign and in the job, and then I decided to get a coach anddefinitely that was the best decision of my life. In those sessions I realizedthat my worst than Andy, it was my mind and the way I lookat life. Had so many limiting believe, so many fears, and we willdwell and go deeper on it's no...

...doubting few episodes in our podcast. But through coaching I sol so many more possibilities for me in my life andit was like, you know, like being a blind person and then havingthe opportunity of having an operation and be able to see for the first timeyears. So that, I was my breakthrough. So it was when,at that point, I realized that corporate was not for me and I jumpinto a different train and I became coach and I started working with clients. So I tend to focus on senior professional women in corporate because I know then, I understand our challenges and their issues and their dreams and I want themto thrive in life and to become the best person of themselves. I wantto power then, to have self belief and self love, two areas thatI think are the roots of many issues we have, not just in corporatesbut well in life, to authentically show...

...up and occupy more space in theworld and show up as a woman in corporate because many times women in highpositions they show up as a man, with the character trace of men andbehave in like men. I work in many areas, depending on the clientswhat they need to work on. But the main ones would be self awareness, had to become was silient to type, life challenges, stress, manage manyand energy management, growth mindsets, relationships and as well, lack oflife purpose, if they want to work on them. My passion really isto improve the motion intelligence and organizations, and you do so by helping thetop leaders in that corporates to become more efficient in their jobs, more compassionatetowards overs and happy in their life. So once you improve the leader's lifeand their mindset, it will have a...

...dumbing effects on the people that they'reworking with them or they working for them. So for me is not just aboutchange in the life of one passion. That to me is very important, based about change in the character connversation is so many can benefits from thatindividual changes. So yeah, they's me. So, Olivia, why a podcast? Why do you want it to do a podcast? I love podcast. I listened to them most days, whether I'm driving, doing housework, exercising or relaxing. I probably listened to too many and too much and don'tget enough done. I tend to listen to through crime and comedy podcast ratherthan health and wellbeing. But you know, there's a lot of them out there'sa lot of true crime and comedy podcast and I'm certainly no comedian andI really don't think I have the time to do all the in depth researchfor a true crime podcast. They wanted...

...to do something that I could actuallytalk about honestly and give my own experience variants in from so professional point ofview as a coach, but also as someone who's been, you know, through life and had some challenges and had to come through them, and howI did that what I learned from them. If, if anyone out there isa fan of my favorite murder I was actually the hometown storyteller in episodea hundred ninety nine lives at the Hammersmith Apollo of that podcast. So that'sthe only other podcast I've been on so far. It's quite a big oneto start with. One thing I love about podcast is how accessiful they are. They are free and you can easily interact with the host by social media. So I'm just a really big sign of podcast, so I was reallyinterested in kind of giving it a going myself. What about you, Carmen? You are started a very high already in their pointing. So it's verygood and what about me. I love...

...to duck, I love to interactwith people and I love I'm very passionate about passion, development and mental wellbeing and mental health issues. So and all my life is but I wasin finance and tragedy and in my head it was always late. You justgood with numbers. Stick to numbers. I had the being in the backof my heads of me having a radio channel and show. So a podcastseemed to me like a time didn't Sept or was my dream where I combinemy passion for talking, in my passion for this personal development and mental wellbeing arenness. So they suppere, I thought to talk to you. Apodcast into this show.
